What's in this course
Module 1: Orientation and setup
What a SharePoint Answer Agent is, how it uses your sites and document libraries as its source of truth, and where it can live (embedded on a SharePoint page, linked from your intranet, or shared into Teams). We’ll cover prerequisites, permissions, and what content works best.
Module 2: Build your first agent (fast)
Create your SharePoint Agent and shape the name, purpose, and guiding instructions in plain English. This is where almost every mistake is made, but not with the knowledge I give you!
Module 3: Configure for control and quality
Scope sources to the right SharePoint sites, libraries, and pages. Dial in settings that improve accuracy, honor existing permissions, and return clear, useful answers with source references. Upload an icon and polish your description so the agent is easy to adopt.
Module 4: Test, share, and support
Test with real questions, iterate on instructions, and validate citations. Share with a small pilot group, embed on a SharePoint page or add as a tab in Teams, and cover governance basics: permissions, change control, and simple maintenance.
Module 5: When to extend beyond the starter build
How to know when it’s time to add advanced capabilities like actions or workflows via Copilot Studio or Power Automate - plus tips for broader rollout, analytics, and lifecycle management as demand grows.
